Summary

What happens when a superhero can beat the snot out of every villain with just one punch? Can he find an opponent to give his life meaning, or is he doomed to a life of superpowered boredom?

Nothing about Saitama passes the eyeball test when it comes to superheroes, from his lifeless expression to his bald head to his unimpressive physique。 However, this average-looking guy has a not-so-average problem—he just can’t seem to find an opponent strong enough to take on!

The human monster and hero hunter Garo cranks up the intensity of his destruction。 As the damage increases, throwing the hero world into turmoil, Saitama decides it’s the perfect time to develop an interest in martial arts and sneaks into a combat tournament。 Meanwhile, the Class-S hero Metal Bat takes an assignment guarding a Hero Association executive and his son, and it isn’t long before trouble appears!

One-Punch Man Is one of my favorite animes。 When I read this I was stunned on how good the books were。

This volume is half plot progression, half funny skits, and it really works。 Even the filler content serves a purpose: to develop certain characters and their relationships with other characters。Some good characters got more time to shine, and the plot is really engaging, so that's another great volume for me。 This volume is half plot progression, half funny skits, and it really works。 Even the filler content serves a purpose: to develop certain characters and their relationships with other characters。Some good characters got more time to shine, and the plot is really engaging, so that's another great volume for me。 。。。more

For some reason the art was really stocking out to me again in this volume。 Each panel was gorgeous。 We get to see more of the side characters and I live for that。

Great fight scenes, but why the hell were there so many bonus chapters?! Not that they were bad, but I want to read about Garo and the sudden appearance of all these monsters, and I sure as HELL don't want to read about Tornado because I don't give a fuck about her! *sigh* whatever, it was an enjoyable volume, but still。。。so many damn bonus chapters。。。*walks off grumbling* Great fight scenes, but why the hell were there so many bonus chapters?!

While Metal Bat has tons of Spirit, the real joy in this volume is in the extras。 Child Emperor's little number experiment was hilarious but so was the gaming tournament。 Seriously, I'm having a great time with this series。 :) Always great for a smile。 :) While Metal Bat has tons of Spirit, the real joy in this volume is in the extras。 Child Emperor's little number experiment was hilarious but so was the gaming tournament。 Seriously, I'm having a great time with this series。 :) Always great for a smile。 :) 。。。more

I was slightly distressed by the cover。 I wondered "Is Tatsumaki seriously not wearing any bottom underwear?" and fretted over how cold and exposed she must be down there。 Anyway, I'm cheering for Fubuki and greatly amused by the gaming prowess of King。 Must start again from the beginning because these supporting characters are so heart-warming。 I was slightly distressed by the cover。 I wondered "Is Tatsumaki seriously not wearing any bottom underwear?" and fretted over how cold and exposed she must be down there。 Anyway, I'm cheering for Fubuki and greatly amused by the gaming prowess of King。 Must start again from the beginning because these supporting characters are so heart-warming。 。。。more

I would give this book 4 stars because unlike the first ones it didn't really have as much action。 It did have some action but not as much。 The 4 stars because as always it had very good illustrations as always。 I’d recommend this book to people who like manga and read the ones before。 I would give this book 4 stars because unlike the first ones it didn't really have as much action。 It did have some action but not as much。 The 4 stars because as always it had very good illustrations as always。 I’d recommend this book to people who like manga and read the ones before。 。。。more

Saitama is so sweet visiting the people whom Garo injured like Mumen Rider。 Mumen is a good person, too!! He gave banana to him but he still eat them, LOL Saitama。。。 Saitama is just hilarious。 He gave Tank Top a banana so he can ask more about Garo。 Intelligent? Genos really made an effort to call Dr。 Kuseno to implant synthetic hair for Saitama because he thought he is having a crisi for buying a wig。 Saitama's face though。 LOL。 So cute this two。Yayyy Saitama is joining the tournament now with that cutie wig, lol。This monster showing up the time of Saitama's fight is annoying, also。 Genos must be busy fighting them and he can't cheer for his sensei。Oh so Terrible Tornado Daze when she's bored。 LOL。 How useful! How exciting。 LOLLL。。。Awwww Saitama is so cuteeeee。。。!!!!!!!! He's so cute walking and bumping into monster and so cute also when he lay down on the sloping ground with grass to relax。 LOL I love him!!!Genos is just an amazing disciple。 He thinks a lot for his sensei and help him with everything。 I love his loyalty。Saitama is so sweet to give his costume to the person who got his clothes stolen。 Awwwww。。 He is the sweetest of all。 That costume contest though。。。。LOL I laugh when Saitama showed his special move which he can move his ears。 WTH! Saitama is a protagonist and Garo is an antagonist, so they are exactly different。 But the way they live is very similar。 Saitama really wants to be a hero and he has his policy as a hero, but he actually doesn’t care about the others。 On the other hand, Garo really wants to be a monster and he has his policy as a monster, and he doesn’t care about the others。 If Saitama wasn’t a hero, he might be sued as well。

The book so far is what I will expect from a One-Punch Man Book。 Some funny quotes or actions and some action in between。 In my opinion Yasuke Murata and One do a good job with the One-Punch Man books。

Really feels like Murata wants to just draw ass and titties despite ONE's sausage-fest of a cast。 Fubuki isn't in the main story here at all (she's in some bonus chapters, though), but Murata slips her into bonus pages and chapter covers。 Pretty funny, as if his whole point to remaking ONE's webcomic was just to get a chance to make sexy Fubuki fanarts。 Good for him。Otherwise, this volume is a bit of a "breather episode" or something。 Garou is between S-class fights, having defeated Tank Top Mas Really feels like Murata wants to just draw ass and titties despite ONE's sausage-fest of a cast。 Fubuki isn't in the main story here at all (she's in some bonus chapters, though), but Murata slips her into bonus pages and chapter covers。 Pretty funny, as if his whole point to remaking ONE's webcomic was just to get a chance to make sexy Fubuki fanarts。 Good for him。Otherwise, this volume is a bit of a "breather episode" or something。 Garou is between S-class fights, having defeated Tank Top Master last volume and heading to face Watchdog Man by the end of this one (though he will actually end up facing Kinzoku Bat first)。 Garou is far more comfortable using Bang's techniques now, after having accidentally used them to defeat TTM。 As a result, TTM has decided martial artist techniques are a truer key to strength, the main element separating Garou from the monsters, the main element establishing Garou as a big threat。 So Saitama decides to join a martial arts tournament, the "Super Fight," posing as Charanko, so he might learn some techniques, though of course we know he's basically going to be doing singular punches (as the title of the series would suggest), so ONE is just dragging the story out for his silly joke, even though the whole Garou and Monster Association plot-intersection is sufficient enough to allow a longer story than he showed in his webcomic。Garou's mistaken attempt to strike Saitama is funny。 Shows just how far he has on his journey to become a real monster。 。。。more
